Covid-19 Information

Thank you for considering Four Seasons Flyfishing when planning your flyfishing adventure to the Truckee/Tahoe area.  For your safety and mine I have implemented new protocols this season as directed by the Forest Service, State of California, and Nevada County.

The following are Four Seasons Flyfishing current COVID-19 protocols:

  • Communication prior to trip to ask about any health issues or if you have had any highrisk exposure Covid-19.  If yes, then we will reschedule your trip.

  1. Have you, someone living in your household, someone with you, someone you have been in close or frequent contact with or someone you are caring for been diagnosed with Covid-19 (coronavirus) or had any contact with a confirmed cased of Covid-19?

  2. In the last 14 days have you, someone living in your household, someone with you, someone you have been in close or frequent contact with or someone you are caring for returned from or made a travel connection through a CDC level 2 or level 3 country or State Department level 3 or level 4 country, for example China, Korea, Japan, the European Union or Iran?

  3. Do you currently have, or have you had within the last 24 hours, any cold or flu symptoms, including a fever greater than 100.4, shortness of breath, body-aches and coughing?

  • Paperwork will be completed electronically when possible.  Paypal is preferred form of payment.  For short notice trips all paperwork will be done at the time of meeting.

  • Guide and guests will wear face coverings during the duration of the trip.  If you do not have a face covering Four Seasons Flyfishing will have them available for purchase on your trip.

  • Guide and guest will maintain social distancing.

  • Guide and guests will use hand sanitizer or soap and water at first meeting and as necessary throughout the trip (provided by Four Seasons Flyfishing).

  • Guide will provide a separate sanitized cooler for guest use.

  • Guide will provide sanitized rental gear as needed/requested.

  • Guide will preform all rigging of terminal tackle.

  • Guest will provide their own water bottle and Guide will have a refill vessel available.

  • Guest will provide their own sunscreen and bug repellant.

  • Guest will provide their own transportation during trip.

There is a lot of information out there and some of it contradictory and changing rapidly.  I will update these protocols as directed by the Federal, State, and County governments that oversee my services.

Thank you for your understanding.  We can fish through this.
